Welcome to Bonsai Plaza! We strive to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Below are our general terms and conditions applicable to your order. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us—we're happy to assist you.
1. Applicability
These terms apply to all purchases made through our website www.bonsaiplaza.com and to orders placed verbally or in writing with our sales team. We reserve the right to amend these terms. The most current version is always available on our website.
2. Prices
Our prices are listed in Euros, British Pounds, and US Dollars, excluding shipping and packaging costs. Prices may change daily due to exchange rates.
Within the EU, we are legally required to apply the VAT rate of the area where your order is delivered. Until we know your address, we display Dutch VAT by default. During checkout, this is automatically adjusted based on the delivery address you enter.
For shipments outside the EU, import duties or local taxes and potential additional costs are the responsibility of the recipient.
Bonsai Plaza reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price at the time of ordering is binding, provided the product is available at that moment.
3. Orders
To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse orders if we deem them inconsistent with our sales conditions or general terms.
4. Confirmation
By confirming your order, you agree to these terms. The confirmation serves as proof of our agreement.
5. Availability
We strive to keep our inventory up to date. If a product is unavailable after ordering, we will contact you. You may then cancel or modify your order at no cost.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the address you provide. Delivery times are indicative. Orders are shipped once we have received your payment.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on your order, shipping location, and any preferences such as insurance. Orders are shipped separately and cannot be combined.
8. Payment
You can securely pay via iDeal, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, or bank transfer. All payments are processed through our certified payment provider, Buckaroo.
For (international) bank transfers, it's important that they are made without costs to the recipient (Bonsai Plaza). If bank charges are deducted, we cannot ship your order until full payment is received.
If a payment is not received on time, we will send you a friendly reminder. If your payment crosses with our reminder, you can consider it void. If we do not receive payment after repeated reminders, we reserve the right to cancel the order. We will, of course, inform you accordingly.
9. Retention of Title
Delivered products remain our property until full payment is received. The risk of damage or loss transfers to the customer upon shipment.
10. Right of Withdrawal
For living products such as bonsai, plants, and trees, the legal right of withdrawal is excluded (Article 6:230p BW). For other products, a 14-day cooling-off period applies. Please contact us first — you can do so easily via email or phone. If you prefer, you may also use our model withdrawal form.
11. Returns
Products covered by the right of withdrawal can be returned at your expense within 14 days after approval, in original condition and packaging, to:

12. Warranty
All our products are covered by the legal warranty. This means a product must do what you can reasonably expect from it. If you encounter any issues, please contact us immediately.
13. Complaints and Disputes
If you're not satisfied, let us know via [email protected] or our contact form. We respond within 7 days. If we cannot resolve the issue together, you can contact a recognized disputes committee or use the European ODR platform: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
14. Privacy
We handle your data with care. Our privacy policy explains how we process personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The privacy policy is available on our website.
