Product description

In the Japanese garden mainly 2 different sizes of gravel are used. The smaller gravel that symbolizes the water of the ocean in the Japanese dry zen or rock garden. This gravel is somewhat sharper in shape and therefore easy to rake in wave patterns.

The larger gravel, actually pebbles or pebbles, are rounder in shape and is used in larger Japanese gardens and as a backdrop for lanterns and tsukubai set-ups. Larger pebbles are also used as a filling of the so-called Sokkou, or gutter which has to drain rainwater from the roof.
