Milling tools are used to remove dead wood from a bonsai, to model it or to embellish it, for example to create jin and shari in bonsai. The tools you use for this come in various models and sizes. With the large cutters you can quickly remove a lot of wood, while with the smaller models you can create structures. In addition to milling cutters, this page also contains jin tools and gouges.
